Kyle's crew lands Coho, Sockeye & Chinook on Lake Michigan!
Hot bite and happy crew! Kyle and their crew joined us for an early morning summer trip on Lake Michigan out of Port Washington. Partly cloudy skies with storms possible made for interesting conditions, but the lake was cooperative for our trolling adventure. We launched before dawn to make the most of our eight-hour window with Livin the Dream Fishing Charters and our Secure an Eight Hour Lake Michigan Excursion with Captain Glenn Today.
Once the stage was set, we focused our trolling efforts across Lake Michigan's productive waters. The crew connected with Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and Chinook Salmon throughout the day. Lake Michigan's diverse salmon population makes it perfect for trolling operations, especially during summer months when these species are actively feeding. We worked different depths and speeds to stay on the fish as conditions shifted with the changing weather patterns.
The variety of salmon species kept everyone busy, and trolling proved to be the right call for the day. Lake Michigan delivered exactly what we hoped for with consistent action across multiple species. Kyle and their crew handled the changing weather like pros, and we managed to stay ahead of any serious storms that rolled through the area.
